In this world of constant movement, relentless work and achievement focus, sometimes the most radical thing you can do is to take time to care for yourself. That’s why Ragen and Jeanette have decided to switch things up with our new self-care challenge. The program invites you to be a RASCAL which means a Radical Activist for Self Care and Love. We’ve devised a list of over 100 official acts of self-care for you to choose among. You can mix and match. Do each of them as many times as you like. And to help you gauge your journey towards Radical Self Care, we’ve created a point program that will allow you to keep track of your awesomeness. Each act of self care can be counted as one point. You can tally up your points daily, weekly or monthly to determine your level of self-care “radicality”.
Here’s how the points shake out:
- Reformers 25 points
- Rabble Rousers 50 points
- Rebels 75 points
- Revolutionaries 150 points
- Radicals 300 points
How it Works
Just register for the RASCAL program by clicking HERE. Once the program begins (on October 19) you will receive a link to your tracking form. Every time you complete one of the suggested Acts of Self Care and Love, you simply need to enter your name and the description of the act in the tracking form. Once a week, we’ll send an encouragement email to help you on your way. As you rack up points, you will become eligible for some radical self-care prizes!
- Each level receives a badge for your profile on the forum,
Revolutionaries also get a self-care treat from More of Me to Love,
- Radicals also get an even more fabulous self care treat from More of Me to Love and a one-of-a-kind trophy
- Highest point winner receives the most fabulous self-care treat from More of Me to Love and a super special one-of-a-kind trophy.

Do you have to be fat to do this?
Nope! We welcome people of all sizes, our use of the word fat is about making a specific place for fat people in the fitness discussion, not about excluding people who don’t identify as fat.
Why are you charging for this?
Keeping the forum going costs money and takes time, and there are a lot of things that we want to do with the forum but we need funding to do them. We like the idea of a relationship where we support our members and they support the forum and get cool experiences and prizes in return. The funds from this go right back into the forum.
Are people with disabilities welcome?
Absolutely! We invite everyone to modify any existing events and to suggest your own events that work for you.
Liability Waiver: By registering, you are acknowledging your awareness and assumption of all risks associated with your participation. You are certifying that you are medically and physically fit to compete safely in the events that you choose, and you are agreeing to hold harmless the Fit Fatties Forum, Ragen Chastain and Jeanette DePatie for any outcomes of your participation.
Huge thanks to our sponsor!
